How to increase the PayMaya limit to 500k?

If you only have a Basic PayMaya account, the first thing you need to do to increase your PayMaya limit to 500k is to upgrade your account. After you have an Upgraded PayMaya account, you need to regularly use in-app features and maintain a good wallet balance to reach the Super Users account level and enjoy a PayMaya limit of 500k. But as of now, PayMaya hasn’t released specific criteria to get a Super Users account, and you’ll only get a notification once you reach this level. So getting an Upgraded account and continuing using the features of PayMaya is the only way to increase your PayMaya Limit to 500k.

How to upgrade the PayMaya account?

Since the first step to increasing the PayMaya limit to 500k is to upgrade your account, you can get started by following the steps below:

  1. Launch the PayMaya app and log in.
  2. On the upper left of the dashboard, click the Menu button or the three parallel lines.
  3. On the drop-down menu, select Upgrade my Account.
  4. Click Next. Also and take note of the requirements.
  5. Then, click Next and fill out the required fields on the Upgrade Application form.
  6. Upload at least 1-valid Primary ID or 2-valid Second IDs for verification, matching the details on the Upgrade Application form.
  7. Record a 4 to 5 seconds video selfie and upload it.
  8. Double-check your application details and click Submit.
  9. If your upgrade application is approved, wait within 24 hours for the SMS confirmation indicating a successful request. You’ll also see a green verified checkmark beside your name and profile icon.
