How To Buy Load using GCash

There are three ways to buy load using GCash, in-app, *143#, and partner sellers, like Lazada. If you have funds on your GCash wallet, it is very convenient since you can purchase in the app and Lazada. Also, Globe and TM subscriber who don’t have the GCash app on their mobile phones or having trouble with their internet connection but owns a GCash account can buy by calling *143#.

Via GCash Buy Load

  1. Launch the GCash app.
  2. Click Buy Load on the home screen.
  3. Enter the mobile number you want to buy load and click Next. You can also click the Phonebook icon on the right if you’re purchasing for someone on your phone’s contacts. Click the contact number you want to buy load, and it will automatically appear in-app.
  4. Check the purchase details and click Yes, Proceed.
  5. Select the Buy Load product or enter your desired load denomination to buy. If purchasing Telco load, ensure to select the correct network provider of the mobile number to proceed. If not, the transaction will be invalid.
  6. Double-check the payment details and click the Pay button to complete the purchase.
  7. After purchase, a confirmation receipt will appear on your screen. Then, click Done and Ok.
  8. GCash will send an SMS confirmation if your transaction is successful. 

Buy Load Via *143# (for Globe and TM subscribers)

  1. Dial *143# on your mobile phone.
  2. Enter 9 to select GCash, and click Reply.
  3. Enter 7 to select Buy Load, and click Reply.
  4. Choose the network provider of the mobile number you want to buy load. Ensure to select the correct network provider, or the transaction will be unsuccessful.
  5. Then, choose the Buy Load product to purchase and click Reply. You can buy Regular Load amounts or Load Promos.
  6. Enter the corresponding number of the Load amount or Promo to purchase, and click Reply.
  7. Input the 11-digit mobile number of the recipient and click Reply.
  8. Next, input the 4-digit MPIN of your GCash account and click Reply.
  9. A confirmation will appear on your screen notifying successful purchase. You’ll also receive an SMS confirmation from GCash.

Buy Load Via Lazada

  1. Launch the GCash app.
  2. On the home screen, click GLife.
  3. Select a partner app, such as Lazada.
  4. GCash will redirect you to the Lazada Mini-Site.
  5. Search for Load vouchers, depending on your network provider.
  6. Choose your preferred Load vouchers denomination.
  7. Click Buy Now and input your login details and click Login.
  8. Select GCash as the payment method and click Place Order on the checkout page.

Can I borrow a load in GCash?

You can borrow load in the GCash app if your wallet doesn’t have funds. The borrow load amount is automatically deducted and paid when you have funded your GCash wallet. However, it will undergo the GCash credit evaluation if you are eligible to borrow. If it’s your first time borrowing load in the GCash app, you also need to verify your email address.

How to borrow load in the GCash app?

If you urgently need to buy a load, remember the GCash app only allows it if you’re to top up your mobile number. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the GCash app.
  2. On the home screen, select Buy Load.
  3. Under the Borrow Load tab, click Next.
  4. Then, select the available Load Combos or Regular amount, and click Next.
  5. Double-check the confirmation page and click Confirm.
  6. You’ll receive an SMS confirmation regarding your transaction.

Can I buy a load using GCash GCredit?

If you’re purchasing in the GCash app, you cannot buy load with GCredit since it is only for paying bills available in the app and other partner sellers. However, if you’re buying from partner sellers, such as Lazada, you can use your GCredit as the payment source. Also, make sure your linked Lazada account to a GCash account contains the same GCash number, or you won’t be able to sign in and pay.
