For Filipino Citizens at least 18 years old with a PH-based SIM:

  1. Tap Profile on the lower right of the GCash dashboard.
  2. Click the Verify Now button and tap Get Started.
  3. Prepare your valid government ID and click Next.
  4. Ensure you’re selfie-ready before you click Next. (Note: Wear proper attire and remove cap, mask, or shades/eyeglasses.)
  5. Prepare your personal details and click Next.
  6. Input the 6-digit authentication code.
  7. Enter your birthday, verify you’re a Filipino citizen, and click Next.
  8. Select the valid government ID you want to submit for verification.
  9. Read the tips and click Select ID.
  10. Scan your ID and ensure it’s within the frame.
  11. Prepare to take a selfie scan and click Next.
  12. Scan your face and ensure it’s clear and not blurred.
  13. Double-check the details you’ve provided.
  14. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Next.
  15. Then, wait for an SMS within 24 hours regarding the verification of your GCash account.

For Minors (Filipino or Non-Filipino) 7-17 years old with a PH-based SIM:

  1. Login to your account and click Profile.
  2. Under your name, click the Verify Now button and tap Get Started.
  3. Prepare a valid government-issued ID and click Next.
  4. Prepare for a selfie and click Next to proceed.
  5. Read the additional instruction in the app and click Next.
  6. Enter your birthday and confirm if you’re Filipino or not. Then, click Next.
  7. Select the ID you want to submit for verification.
  8. Read the tips and click Select ID.
  9. Scan your real ID.
  10. Prepare for a selfie and click Next. Take a selfie.
  11. Review if the information you provided is identical to your valid ID.
  12. Fill out the required fields and click Confirm.
  13. Prepare your parent (Fully-verified GCash user) for a selfie with your ID.
  14. Prepare your original Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO) and click Continue.
  15. Upload the required photos and click Submit.
  16. Afterward, wait within 24 hours to fully verify your GCash Jr account.

For Foreign Nationals with a PH-based SIM:

  1. Click Profile on the GCash app.
  2. Tap Verify Now and click Get Started.
  3. Prepare your valid government ID and click Next.
  4. Ensure you’re selfie ready for verification and tap Next.
  5. Read the additional instruction in the app and click Next.
  6. Input your birthdate, select your Nationality, and click Next.
  7. Choose the valid government ID you want to submit.
  8. Read the tips and click Select ID.
  9. Scan your ID.
  10. Prepare for a selfie and click Next. Take a selfie.
  11. Double-check the details you entered and click Confirm.
  12. Then, wait for 24 hours for the verification status of your GCash account.

For Filipino Citizens at least 18 years old with Non-PH-based SIM:

  1. Open the GCash app and enter your country code and mobile number.
  2. Input the 6-digit authentication code sent to your GCash-registered mobile number.
  3. Fill out the required fields and click Next.
  4. Set your MPIN and click Submit and Continue.
  5. Open the GCash app and enter your MPIN.
  6. Click Get Started and prepare your valid ID and for a selfie before clicking Next.
  7. Read the additional instruction in the app and click Next.
  8. Enter your birthday, verify you’re a Filipino citizen, and click Next.
  9. Select a valid government ID you want to submit.
  10. Read the tips and click Select ID.
  11. Scan your ID.
  12. Prepare for a selfie and click Next. Take a selfie.
  13. Review your details and click Confirm.
  14. Finally, wait for 24 hours for the verification status of your GCash account.
