What is RFID?

Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that involves encoding electronic data to smart labels or RFID tags, automatically identifying or tracking an object. Moreover, manufacturing, pet tags, and shop security often utilize this technology.

But in the Philippines, RFID is utilized as a payment system for toll roads. To get your RFID, you need to register and visit the nearest installation site to get an RFID account card and a sticker tag attached to your car headlamp or windshield as identification.

On the other hand, you should keep your physical RFID account card with you whenever driving in case your sticker tag is unreadable.
