What do I need to pay my SSS contribution using Gcash?

The payment of SSS contribution using Gcash is accessible for members, who are self-employed, voluntary, non-working spouses, and OFWs. Furthermore, whether you’re paying at an SSS branch, partner banks, payment centers, or via e-wallet, like Gcash, you will need to generate a Personal Reference Number (PRN). PRN was launched on January 16, 2018, that allows Real-Time Processing of Contributions (RTPC).

SSS members are also required to generate a new PRN every time they pay for their contribution. Through the utilization of PRN, SSS members’ contribution payments will instantly be transmitted and posted on their records, and get an SMS notification that their contributions are acknowledged. Thus, SSS encourages members to update and provide their contacts details to receive a PRN. It will also prevent the delay in claiming benefits and services.
