What is GOMO?
GOMO is a fully digital telco, which means that it offers services that are similar to other mobile network operators (like Globe and Smart), but it doesn’t own any radio frequencies. Hence, it runs on the Globe Telecom network, making use of its cell towers and resources.
Aside from the Philippines, GOMO has been launched in other countries as well. In Singapore, it runs on the Singtel network. In Ireland and Thailand, GOMO runs on the Eir and AIS networks, respectively. So it’s pretty much making a presence internationally.
What are the Features of a GOMO SIM?
A quick visit to the GOMO Philippines website shows that there are currently two offerings: The first is a SIM card that contains 25GB of data and is priced at PHP 299 each. For a limited time, however, you can buy it for only PHP 199. This introductory price will be available until January 15, 2021, after which the SIM card price goes back to PHP 299.
The second SIM card offer also contains 25GB of data, with the addition of 100 minutes of calls and 500 text messages that can be used for any network. This SIM is priced at PHP 499.

What are the Perks of Having a GOMO SIM?
First of all, as mentioned earlier, GOMO SIM data has no expiration date. You don’t have to worry about validity dates, unlike other data promos where you have to constantly check the dates to make sure that your data hasn’t expired!
Secondly, each GOMO SIM comes with ‘Mo Creds, a feature that allows you to convert data into call and text allocations. For example, let’s say that you need to contact someone but you don’t have load. Using your ‘Mo Creds, you can easily convert 200MB of data into 30 texts, or 400 MB into 6 minutes to make a call.
