Smart Communications, Inc. is one of the top telecommunications and digital services providers in the Philippines. More commonly known as “Smart,” it has millions of subscribers, including those who have prepaid as well as postpaid accounts.
If you’re a Smart subscriber, you are probably wondering how to check your load balance. This is important, especially if you need to make calls, send text messages, or use mobile data for going online. Fortunately, there are several ways to do this, using your phone or computer!
5 Ways to Check Your Smart Load Balance
Here are the different ways to check your balance in Smart. Most of these apply to prepaid subscribers, though we have also included options for postpaid subscribers:
1. Dial *123#.
This is perhaps the easiest way to check your load balance. It is also free of charge, and you can check even if you have zero balance. Simply dial *123# on your phone and your Smart load balance will be displayed on the screen.
If you want a more detailed breakdown, type the numbers corresponding to “Balance Services” and then “Check Balance.” The display will show your load balance, along with the status and expiration dates of any call, text, or Internet promos that you have subscribed to. In addition, you will also receive a text message containing your load balance and other details.
2. Dial *888.
This number happens to be the hotline number for prepaid subscribers of Smart. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your account, you can call this hotline, which is free of charge.
You can also dial *888 to check your Smart load balance. Simply follow the voice prompts and press the corresponding numbers, and an automated voice message will state your load balance. Keep in mind, however, that this option will reveal your load balance only. It does not include other details, such as the status and expiration dates of any promos that you’ve subscribed to.
3. Dial 1515.
This is a straightforward way of checking your load balance. Just dial 1515, and you will receive a text message containing your load balance and other details. Take note that there is a PHP 1 (one peso) charge when you use this method.
4. Log into My Smart online.
My Smart is a platform that enables Smart subscribers to check their accounts online through this link: https://my.smart.com.ph/loginAuth/. To use this platform, you need to register and create an account first. Then, simply log in with your Smart number/email and your password.

Aside from checking your load balance, you can use My Smart to pay your bills, buy load, subscribe to promos, and other activities. You can also use it to link and manage several accounts. For example, if you’re a parent and you see that your child’s load balance is running out, you can use the platform to purchase load for his/her account.
5. Use the My Smart mobile app.
This is basically the mobile app version of My Smart. You can use it to check your load balance, pay bills, subscribe to promos, buy load, and access other services. Just remember that you need to be connected to the Internet when using this app.
